HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
For stock items please allow 3-5 business days for delivery in the UK.
For bespoke or personalised items please expect a lead time of approximately 3 weeks. Often the item will arrive sooner than this but we must allow flexibility when working with our bullion suppliers for special orders. During peak seasons the average lead time may increase. If in doubt, please contact us to discuss your order prior to purchasing.
CAN I BUY A GIFT FOR SOMEONE AND HAVE IT SENT STRAIGHT TO THEIR ADDRESS?
Yes, this is possible. Please be clear to indicate that your item is a gift and we will be sure to exclude a written receipt from the package. It is also possible to include a short note direct from you to the recipient, please contact for further details if this is an option that would suit you.
CAN I COLLECT AN ORDER IN PERSON?
Packaging and postage costs are included at checkout. If you live in Devon, local to EX7, and would rather collect your item in person you may select this as an alternative. Collection details would be confirmed thereafter.
HOW WILL MY ITEM BE PACKAGED?
Items come wrapped inside a hand finished gift bag. A sturdy 'large letter' sized postage box and some bubble wrap will ensure your item gets to you in perfect condition.
IS EVERYTHING HANDCRAFTED?
Most items are entirely handcrafted in our workshop in Devon. Some items also include a machined component, such as ear hooks for drop earrings, alongside the handcrafted elements. All sterling silver chains we offer are machine manufactured by a third party.
CAN I DESIGN SOMETHING MYSELF?
Yes you can! Send us photos or sketches of your proposed design, you can even glean ideas from the internet. Include as much description as possible and be specific about your preferences. We will be upfront about what we feel is achievable. Quotes will be based on the time and materials we believe to be involved in the project.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ITEM DOESN'T FIT?
Most stock items can easily be resized. This is a chargeable service, please contact us for a quote. (Bespoke and Commissioned products will be made to your personal specifications.)
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF MY PURCHASE IS FAULTY?
Faulty items are rare, however, if a manufacturing fault becomes apparent in a Cherished Silver product within 3 months of the date of purchase, a free repair service will be offered. This does not include accidental damage. For accidental damage at any point a chargeable repair service is available, this is specific to Cherished Silver products. Please contact us for a quote.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
In most cases, if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 14 days of your purchase date and receive a refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. To qualify for a refund items must be unworn, in perfect condition and in the original packaging. Buyer pays for return postage. You must contact us prior to returning an item. This policy excludes earrings and personalised or bespoke jewellery which are non-refundable.
